After years of success with the famous ‘mange-disque’, the first portable record player, our passion for innovation lead us in 1987 to launch the first electronic doll ever on the French market: Le Bébé de Lansay.
1991 is the year of the ‘Flash Ball’ a new electronic version of the table tennis, but also exclusive educational games as well as the first karaoke player which became a tremendous success in 2002
1994 has featured a new craze with ‘Biker Mice from Mars’, a figurine range coming straight out from the TF1 TV series.
In 1995, Lansay created a whole new market with the electronic diaries for kids, licensed by famous characters.
In 1996, Lansay ranked N°1 on the figurines market with licenses such as Toy Story or Biker Mars from Mars, and in 1999 our interactive plushes Kiara and Kovu (King Lion II) were awarded Toy of the Year.
In 2000, Lansay acquired the Babar license as Master Toy and Pokemon marbles which reached the top 10 sellers.
In 2001, Lansay entered the games market with an incredible success ‘Who wants to be a millionaire” which ranked immediately N°1 game.
In 2003, Lansay acquired the Star Academy license, and the C’est Pas Sorcier licence.
In 2004, the Star Academy microphone became the 2nd best christmas toy and our first video game TV Pad reaches the top 10 best selling items.
Today, our brands and licenses portfolio is still permanently growing, always up to date with cinema and television events. Our best licenses are Oui-Oui, Babar, Horseland, Hello Kitty, Arthur et les Minimoys and our best brands are Blopens, Fabrikid, Logo, La Famille Papote.
